Breakout Sessions

Breakout 1 - Friday, 9:15pm

Front Porch Talk with Brad Cardwell This is a talkback session with Brad. The theme of this year's conference is Disciple, and Brad will be talking about what discipleship looks like in his life and his sphere of influence as well as taking questions and continuing the discussion from his message in the main session.

Front Porch Talk with Jeff Johnson This is a talkback session with Jeff. The theme of this year's conference is Disciple, and Jeff will be talking about what discipleship looks like in his life and his sphere of influence. He will take questions and discuss life as a worship leader and how, when, and where, discipleship fits in.

How-To's of Discipleship Disciple. That's the command. But how in the world do you do that? What does it look like to make disciples with your life? What is mentoring? If discipleship is more than teaching, what else is involved. Who can do it? We'll explore these and other questions as we talk about practical ways to make disciples.

Pray. Prayer and communion with God are vital to the lives of disciples, and Pray is an exercise intended to help you slow down, listen, and connect with God. It is a series of stations designed to walk you through an experience of adoration, confession, and intercession before a holy God. Pray is open during the entire conference, and we encourage you to spend some time there.

Leaders Only: Welcome to the Conference!

Breakout 2 - Saturday, 11:30am

The Content of Discipleship: Studying the Bible One vital part of being a disciple and making disciples is knowing how to feed on the Word. We will explore methods and principles for how to study scripture that will help you grow in your understanding and application, connect with God, and be able to pass the truths of scripture onto others.

Transitions Making the jump from high school to college or from college to working life can be difficult. Learning to navigate a new culture, figuring out new rhythms of life, making friends, and figuring out how to do kingdom-focused things in a new environment can all get a little overwhelming. In this session, we will discuss how to effectively make these transitions while making your life count.

Front Porch Talk with Lance Shumake This is a talkback session with Shu. The theme of this year's conference is Disciple, and Shu will be talking about what discipleship looks like in his life and his sphere of influence as well as taking questions and continuing the discussion from his message in the main session.
